Router validating identity netgear being too needy dating
Hi, This is my first EVDO router and just the second router I have ever owned so I apologize in advance if this is going to sound like a noob question/problem. My wireless network list shows the router there and when I click "connect" it says it connected after entering the network key.I got my MBR1000 today via fedex and followed the setup instructions that were included (I wished they were more detailed) Anyway, I got to the part where you set up security and I wasn't sure which to pick (WPA, WEP, etc) so I picked the option that was labeled "best". But my little wireless icon at the bottom never says it connects and no web browsing either. It connected perfectly fine and I used it for about 2 weeks with no problems at all.I set up the router with WPA2-PSK secruity and a password. Router - Netgear WNR1000v2 (supplied by Comcast) Modem - RCA - DCM 325 (Also supplied by Comcast) Window XP Pro w/SP3 Security - WPA-PSK I'm getting in no special order a "validating identity" or "authorization failed" or "unable to find a certificate to log you onto the network" or "limited or no connectivity...." I have removed the check in front of the enable box in the Authorization Tab.
Ever since then, which was about 3 weeks ago, I have been unable to connect to my wireless connection with my dell.
